Join It Membership Platform

New

As of October 2025, the Long Island Civic Association (LICA) has transitioned to Join It, a cloud-based membership service, to streamline our membership management. We are now accepting new members and renewals for the 2026 membership year.

Benefits

Once all members are fully onboarded, Join It will streamline our volunteer membership committee's operations, enabling efficient membership management and personalized, effective communication with our members.

 

The benefits of the online portal extend to you as well. Once enrolled, you will be able to update your mailing address throughout the year, ensuring your LONGISLANDER newsletter follows you wherever you are.

Our Challenge

Of our approximately 300 members, we currently have email addresses for only about 85. Email addresses are essential for completing the transition to Join It.

How to Renew Your Membership Online

Follow these steps to ensure your membership is active in our new system:​

Try Claiming Your Existing Membership

If you believe we have your email address on file, try claiming your existing membership profile.  Click here to try to claim your existing membership.​

If You Can’t Claim Your Profile

If you’re unable to claim your membership profile, please choose one of these options:

• Join LICA as a new member

Existing members can join through our Join It portal to create a new profile for the 2026 membership year. This will not impact your current membership, which expires at the end of 2025. Click here to join.

• Email us and we'll update your existing profile

Please email us your full name, email address, and Member ID (found on your newsletter shipping label). We’ll update your profile and provide clear instructions to access it.
