CBL Schedule Changes

LICA has established a committee to advocate for Long Islanders on Casco Bay Lines' proposed schedule changes and represent Long Island’s interests on an ongoing basis. Overall, we feel the proposed changes are positive, as we will have more boats coming to and from the island without an increase in ticket fares. We have identified some gaps in service, however, and we are soliciting feedback in the form of a brief survey below. It only takes a couple of minutes to fill out and will give us important insight into how our community feels regarding the proposed changes.

Representatives from Casco Bay Lines will be hosting a public hearing on Long Island on Wednesday, July 31 from 6:15-6:45 at Mariner's Wharf. We encourage islanders to be present at the meeting. A vote of the Board of Directors is required for final approval of the changes and has not been scheduled at this time. The current schedules will likely remain in effect through the end of 2019. We strongly encourage public participation at all stages of this project.

The existing and proposed Long Island schedules are also shown below and can also be accessed here. A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) guide is available online here. Additional feedback may also be submitted to ScheduleProject@cascobaylines.com or Casco Bay Lines Attn: Schedule Project, P.O. Box 4656, Portland, ME, 04112-4656.
